The Team

The idea to cross a long distance started few years ago, however it is in Phuket that I decided to fulfil it. With so many sea lovers on this island, it was not so complicated... I present you the team.
The first person to present is my fiancee Adelaide, without her I could have never imagine that I would come to Thailand. We arrived in Phuket in september 2011 and we settled down at the north of the island, in Nai Yang beach, a perfect place for water sports.
In december I met Captain Gop, officer of the Thai Navy and a key person in term of sailing sports in Phuket. I participated to the King's Cup with him(platu25). He is a big fan of kitesurfing, he participated to many international regattas and he dedicates his free time to his sailing school. He was the first to who I talked about my crossing by laser. He liked the idea and informed me that he would like to support me by giving me a laser from his sailing school for the crossing.
Few weeks later while I was searching for a support boat, I met Katy Gooch and Paul Firmin, managers of the topper sailing Club in Ao Yon. This sailing club is mostly dedicated to children association like the Phuket Sunshine Village. Katy and Paul are doing a wonderful job and dedicate most of their time to the children. Katy introduced me to Chris, a friend of her. Chris is the owner of the Andaman Sea Club, a catamaran charter company. Full of dynamism and always looking for new ideas and challenges, Chris decided to helped me for my project. He offered me the service of an ex physical trainer of the English Army my dear coach Chris. and he was supposed to bring a support boat but unfortunately it was impossible few weeks before my crossing.
After having searched many month for a support boat, Chris (the coach) contacted me to offer me his new catamaran as a support boat. and two weeks after that we got Claude de Crissey as a sponsor for the food during the event.

You will find all the details about the team members on the links (right side of the page).
