After two months of physical training I started the sailing trainings. For my workouts I sail solo around Phuket (nearly 65 miles, 120km). I started by sailing 4h to reach gradually 24h without being tired. Every Monday and Thursday I do my turn, other days it is with the coach. The more delicate passage is maikaho, the waves are huge and at times very strong current. this is where I failed on August 27 breaking a mast. In few seconds I lost a tooth, the camera, my telephonne and the launch (chicken rice), here is the summary of losses. I do not have pictures because my cam had stopped working.
The waves are waiting for the "adrenaline junkies.it becomes less annoying. The West side of phuket is exposed to potent swell during the low season. |
