At 17.20 today Saturday 31st May Yassine finished his navigation. Even though the wounds on his butt were very painful, it was impossible for him to sit anymore, and he had to complete the last 20 kms standing up; Yassine came back still full of energy and his positive self.

The Record of the Longest Distance?
Better: A total of 77 hours on his Laser. He has achieved the World Record of the Longest Time ever spent on a Laser.

A total of 211.85 nautical miles (392.6 kms) crossed in total: Longest Distance sailed in Asia on a Laser.

He sailed out, having in mind the testing of his own limits. We are very proud of his accomplishment, he exceeded his own expectations physically and mentally.

This is the end of an adventure but the beginning of new ones!

Thank you very much to all of you for your kind words and support.

Saturday 31st May 2014 (7 AM)

Yassine now crossed 184 nautic miles (340 kms). Last night he didn't have wind, only rain and lightnings (storm). With 1.5 hours of sleep since his departure he is tired and has a lot of irritations but his muscles are ok. He is very calm and positive and the word "give up" doesn't come to his mind.
119 nautic miles (220 kms) minimum more to go!

Good morning everyone!

Yassine had a long night as the wind was weak and it was raining all night.
A lot of fishing boats with and sometimes without light make the night sailing very dangerous.

During all night he had only one hour of good wind. He then tried to sleep between 2 islands but the current was strong and took him near the coast of one island. As there was no wind he had to paddle to not hurt the rocks. He finally managed to sleep 45 minutes around 5am and was woken up by a fish that jumped in his boat! When the sun came up he put his clothes to dry as everything was wet.
He is now very tired, starts to have hallucinations and have pain in all his body: muscles, knees, shoulders (he had the 2 shoulders dislocated in the past year) and big irritations with bleeding but he doesn't give up, he goes on!
Distance crossed last night: 45 kms (24 nautic miles)
Total distance crossed: 248 kms (134 nautic miles)
